OBSERVATION OF
WORLD HEPATITIS AWARENESS DAY (WHAD)
IN BANGLADESH
Liver Foundation of Bangladesh organized the observation of the 4th World Hepatitis Awareness Day in Bangladesh, in collaboration with European Liver Patients Association (ELPA) and WHO, Europe.
Liver Foundation of Bangladesh made all out arrangements for observation of the day in befitting manner, which was first time in Bangladesh.
This Year forty countries of the world from Brussels to Bangladesh staged different awareness program highlighting the prevention of Hepatitis B & C among the people. Theme of this year was “Get Tested”. Make a blood test to detect the presence of Hepatitis B & C in your blood. If negative take vaccine for hepatitis B and if positive, consult the doctor for assessment of the liver condition and viral status. Take personal protective care for both hepatitis B & C.
