Correspondents with different philanthropic organizations on liver diseases all over the world.

Dear Sir, It is my great pleasure to inform you that we have started a not for profit organization on liver diseases in Bangladesh, named as “Liver Foundation of Bangladesh”. You are fully aware that various kinds of liver diseases are very common in Bangladesh. About 10% of the population have hepatitis B & 2-3% have Hepatitis C. Treatment facilities are also very limited in our country. The “Liver Foundation of Bangladesh” is founded by renowned medical & non medical personals of Bangladesh. The aim of this philanthropic organization is the prevention, treatment, education & research on liver diseases in Bangladesh. All the activities are planned out in 4 phases. The first phase activities have already started. It includes : a) Liver clinic service – Free consultation of Doctor every day. b) Free Friday liver clinic – consultation of Specialist every Friday .c) Vaccination service – Hepatitis B vaccination in minimum cost and Free vaccination for needy people. d) E-mail service – reply of queries by email & relevant leaflet as attached file. e) Information and awareness service - Distribution of leaflets, posters on different liver diseases for awareness and prevention. I am very much pleased about the philanthropic activities of liver diseases of your organization.
