Free hepatitis B Screening Program of LFB at Sarkari Shishu Paribar on 25th May 2007

Screening Program of Hepatitis B was organized by Liver Foundation of Bangladesh on May 25, 2007. In this Program 203 orphan girls of SARKARI SHISHU PARIBAR ( Govt. Children House ) at 359,Tejgoan I /A, Dhaka-1208 was screened for Hepatitis B virus infections. Their Blood grouping also done . This program was attended by Chairman, Liver Foundation, Prof. S N Samad Chowdhury, Secretary General, Liver Foundation, Prof. Mohammad Ali. Vice Chairman, ATN Bangla, Mr. Sarker Firoz. Also attended Additional Director, Institution, Mr. Zulfiqur Haider, Deputy Director, Dhaka, Shafiqul Islam and Lamia Yasmin, Deputy Superintend of SARKARI SHISHU PARIBAR. The whole screening program was sponsored by Comfort Diagnostic centre ( Pvt) Ltd. Eng. Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan , Chairman, Comfort Diagnostic centre ( Pvt) Ltd., spoke on the occasion. Everybody congratulated the humanatarian efforts of LFB for the orphan girls of the SARKARI SHISHU PARIBAR. Those girls will be nagative for Hepatitis B, will receive full course of hepatitis B vaccine free of cost on 8th June 2007 .
