Donation for Taslima

It`s our great pleasure to inform that Mr. Mahbub-e-Alam, honorable life member of Liver Foundation of Bangladesh, donated the cost of treatment of Mrs. Taslima and her family on June 6, 2008. He was very much impressed by the presentation of the case report of Mrs. Taslima by Prof. Mohammad Ali in his keynote speech on World Hepatitis Day, on May 19 2008. Mrs. Taslima, a 19-year lady from Saver, Dhaka had been suffering from Hepatitis-B infection. Her husband and only son also affected by Hepatitis-B virus. Her picture and case report was published in the World Hepatitis Day (WHD) website. Taslima expressed her thanks and gratitude to the Liver Foundation of Bangladesh and World Hepatitis Alliance. There was a small donation giving ceremony held at Liver Foundation on June 6, 2008. The pictures will be available at our website.
