We are delighted to announce that the story of one of our recipients of Zakat Fund, Muslima Kader Mili (Hepatitis C survivor) listed in the top ten winners of “NOhep stories contest”.The other finalists are from the USA, Russia, China, Argentina, Bulgaria and Congo. The stories illustrate the global impact that hepatitis is having on people and communities worldwide.The “NOhep stories contest” is a collaboration between the NOhep movement, the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) with funding from Endhep2030, The Hepatitis Fund.Winning submissions will be awarded prizes and the stories will be used to encourage policy makers to prioritize hepatitis elimination efforts. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their experiences at international meetings.It will remind the policy makers of the need to take action to reach the goal of viral hepatitis Elimination 2030.NLFB is thankful to the WHA and associated organizations for selecting our video as winner.We are also thankful to all the hepatitis B and C patients, who are the recipients of the free treatment under Zakat Fund program of the foundation. We are happy that we got the opportunity to serve them.
